«Users» Section#
The Users section is designed to manage user accounts.
The general view of the Users section (Figure 87).
There are 3 columns in the users table:
- Full name – this field displays the user's name;
- Login – user login required to enter CARS Analytics UI;
- Role – the role of the user (administrator or user).
The search and filtering of accounts is conducted using the fields: Username, Login and Role.
To perform a combined search, you must enter parameters in several fields.
The fields for searching and filtering user accounts contain:
- Full name – user information (for example, last name, first name and patronymic of the user);
- Login – an email address that plays the role of a login to access the Service;
- Role – role in CARS Analytics UI (Administrator or User), you can display all accounts, only administrators or only users.
Adding User#
To add a new user, click on the Add button in the lower left corner of the page see Figure 87.
Only one account can correspond to one e-mail address in the CARS Analytics.
A window for adding a new user will open on the screen (Figure 88). Fill in all the fields and click on the Save button. Description of the fields is given in Table 38.

To cancel the changes, press [Esc] on the keyboard or left-click on the area around the form.
An email containing a link to create a password will be sent to the user's e-mail address specified in the form when filling out (see section 1.2).
Editing User#
Editing an account is performed by clicking on the line or the edit button in the line with the account that needs to be changed see Figure 87.
The account window for editing will open (Figure 89). The fields are similar to section 8.1.
After making changes, click the Save button to apply the changes. To cancel the changes, press [Esc] on the keyboard or left-click on the zone around the window.
Password Reset#
Resetting the password from the Users section is necessary so that the Administrator can reset the password for any account, including if the user has forgotten his login. To reset the account password in the editing window see Figure 89, click the Reset Password button.
An email will be sent to the user's email address containing a link to create a new password. Follow the link in the email and enter and confirm a new password in the input form, the process is similar to the first login to CARS Analytics UI (see section 1.2).
Account deprivation#
Deleting an account is done by clicking on the line that needs to be deleted see Figure 87.
In the pop-up window (Figure 90), you must confirm the action - click the Delete button or cancel the action using the Cancel button. All user data is permanently deleted.
