«Tasks» Section#

The «Tasks» section is intended for creating, deleting, and displaying pending tasks, and exporting search results.

The general view of the «Tasks» section (Figure 95). The description of the task table is provided in Table 54.

The Administrator can view and stop the tasks of any user.

Deleting a task is only available to the task author.

Stopping a task can only be done while it is running. To do this, click the «Stop Task» button.

Restarting or resuming a stopped task is not possible.

Search and filtering of tasks are performed using the fields:

  • Author – email address of the user who created the task;
  • Type – task type:
    • All;
    • Image search;
    • Export file;
    • Get camera preview;
    • Unknown
  • Status – task execution status:
    • All;
    • Pending;
    • Running;
    • Completed;
    • Interrupted;
    • Canceled

Creating the «Export to File» Task#

The «Export to File» task can be created in the «Events» and «Incidents» sections after applying filters. The result of the task execution is a report in XLSX format containing information about events or incidents that meet the applied filters and settings.

Clicking on the «Export» button opens the export settings window (Figure 96).

The main settings include changing filtering options.

After selecting additional items, click the «Submit» button. The window will close, and a background task will be created.

Columns#

This setting determines which columns will be included in the file and in which order.

The columns are divided into two sections:

  • Event Information – data about the event or incident;
  • Vehicle – data about the vehicle involved in a specific event or incident.

All sections and subsections can be expanded using the icon , and collapsed using the icon . You can expand or collapse any section or subsection by clicking the arrow icon next to the section name.

Next to the name of each section (subsection) and value is a checkbox. When no value is selected within a section (subsection), the checkbox remains empty (Figure 97).

If at least one value from the section (subsection) is selected, the checkbox will change to , and the checkbox next to the value will change to . The same checkbox will appear when all values of the section (subsection) are selected (Figure 98).

To select or deselect all values in a section (subsection) at once, click the checkbox next to the section (subsection) name.

Viewing Task Execution Results#

To view the results of the following tasks, go to the «Tasks» section and click on the buttons in the corresponding rows of the completed tasks (Figure 99).

  • Export to file task – an XLSX file will be downloaded;
  • Image search task – search results will be displayed.

The result of the «Get Camera Preview» task is the appearance of the camera preview image in the corresponding camera section.

«Export to File» Task Execution Result#

The result of executing the task is an XLSX file containing a table. The table includes columns added by the user when creating the task with the applied filters taken into account.

A description of all available table columns is provided in Table 57.

«Image Search» Task Execution Result#

The result of the image search task is displayed on a separate page (Figure 101). The page contains a list of all the events found. If no matches are found, the table will be empty.

«Get Camera Preview» Task Execution Result#

Once the status of this task is set to «Completed», go to the «Cameras» section, select the corresponding camera, and you will see the preview added by the system.
