Administration panel#
CARS_Analytics provides the ability to administer the system using a graphical interface. The interface allows you to view and manage database objects (Figure 4).
Access to the admin panel is available at:
http://<IP-address>:8080/admin/
Authorization is carried out using the login and password of the CARS_Analytics administrator.
The admin panel provides access to engineering settings that can be used to perform CRUD operations on available objects.
Users are prohibited from editing, adding or deleting any other objects other than cameras, as this will entail critical errors in the operation of CARS_Analytics. Recommended to use the administrator interface in conjunction with VisionLabs engineers.
The description of the sections of the administrator interface is presented in Table 41.

Exporting and Importing Settings#
In the admin panel, located in the upper-right corner, there are two buttons: «Upload settings» and «Dump settings».
- «Upload settings»: is used to load previously created settings for cameras, scenarios, and handlers.
- «Dump settings»: is used to export these settings.
Now, you can save all settings and later load them back, which significantly simplifies the process of restoring configurations and improves the convenience of working with them.
Export Settings
Once you have configured the system as needed, go to the admin panel and click the «Dump settings» button. This will start the process of downloading a .json file, which will contain all your settings for cameras, scenarios, and handlers.
Import Settings
If you don't want to configure everything again or want to add previously configured cameras, scenarios, and handlers, go to the admin panel and click the «Upload settings» button.
This will open the «Upload settings» page, where you need to select the previously downloaded .json file and click the «Upload» button.
Afterward, you will be returned to the main page of the admin panel, where a green message «The task to download the settings is running» will appear at the top of the screen.
Now, you can go back to the necessary sections and check that the settings have been successfully loaded. Please note that in the «Cameras» section, cameras will be loaded without previews. You will need to reload the previews and enable the cameras.
