Introduction#

This document is the administrator's manual for the VisionLabs LUNA CARS Stream subsystem (hereinafter referred to as CARS Stream) version 2.0.60.

The guide describes:

  • requirements for multimedia files;
  • subsystem architecture;
  • subsystem setting;
  • returned errors.

It is recommended that you read this manual carefully before operating the CARS Stream.

CARS Stream subsystem is designed to work with video streams and video files, process them and then transfer the processing results to other LUNA CARS subsystems.

Main functions of CARS Stream:

  • Video stream processing;
  • Detection of vehicles, LP, smoke, fire, pedestrians and animals;
  • Tracking of vehicles and LP:
  • Selection of the best frame.

CARS Stream is a subsystem of LUNA CARS (here and further – the system). Additional components are required for correct operation of CARS Stream:

  • Subsystem for recognition of vehicle and LP attributes;

Currently only CARS API is supported. Documentation for the CARS API subsystem is included in the CARS API distribution in the "/doc" directory.

  • Subsystem for collecting, storing and displaying information, as well as making custom settings and filters for generating events.

Currently, only CARS Analytics is supported. The documentation for the CARS Analytics subsystem is included in the CARS Analytics distribution in the "/doc" directory.
