Working with Service#

Registering a new user account#

All user accounts are created by the administrator of the Service. The administrator adds a new Service user, specifying their full name, email, position, role. The user receives an email containing a link to activate the account. An example of an email is shown below (Figure 1).

It is also possible to create a user account without sending a link to his email address, with an explicit indication of the password in the Service.

The ability to set passwords in the web interface of the Service is configured via LUNA Configurator.

For more information about the LUNA Configurator, see “VisionLabs LUNA PLATFORM 5. Administrator Manual”.

The user follows the link to continue registration. A new tab will open in the web browser and a form for creating a password will appear on the screen (Figure 2). The user should enter the password and duplicate it in the second field, then click the “Save” button.

After creating a password, the Service will automatically offer to log in.

Authorization in Service#

The Service is accessed by logging in to the website in a web browser. The link to enter the LUNA POINT web interface is sent to the email address when registering a new user account. If the user account password is set in the Service interface, then you need to request a link from the administrator.

Authorization form is launched when you log first time into LUNA POINT (Figure 3).

For authorization in the Service, you must enter your credentials (email and password) in the appropriate fields and click the “Login” button.
