"Operator panel" section#
The “Operator panel” section displays events of face and body recognition (Figure 7) as well as video analytics events (Figure 8). Receiving and displaying events is performed with minimal delays in near real time.
Click the “Get events” switch (1) to show events received via the WebSocket protocol. Click on the "Filters" button (2) to filter events by parameters (for more details, see the "Filtering events" section). Click the "Settings" button (3) to customize the event feed. Select:
- types of events to show—face and/or body recognition events or video analytics events;
- fields to display in event cards—date and time, source, address, lists;
- settings for showing faces and bodies—show faces and bodies in events, only faces or only bodies, as well as the default order for displaying faces and bodies in events.
The page shows the last 30 events within the settings of handling policy for processing incoming images of the video stream (3). An event is:
- face detection;
- body detection;
- detection of face and body together;
- video analytics "People Count", "Fight", "Weapon", "Fire", "Balaclava/Niqab", "Abandoned objects".

- Photo image from a video stream—face, body, face and body together, as well as video analytics event recognition;
- Name or ID of the event source that recorded the event;
- Location of the event—house number, street, city, district, area;
- For face and body detection events:
- Top match—the reference photo image of face and/or body. If no matches are found for a photo from an event, then the column with the top match for this event will remain empty.
- Event type—"Detection", when a face or body is detected in the frame, and "Match", when a match is found for the detected face or body in the database.
- The date and time the event was recorded;
- “Lists”—the name of the lists (list) to which the face from the top match is attached;
- Value of similarity of the identified face or body with the reference in percentage terms and with the color coding of similarity thresholds*;
- For video analytics events:
- Event type—takes values of "People Count", "Fire", "Weapon", "Fight", "Balaclava/Niqab", "Abandoned objects" depending on the type of video analytics;
- The date and time of the start and end of the event;
- For a people counting event, user sees information about the number of people detected in the processed video segment;
- For a fire detection event, user sees the probability of fire in the frame is displayed in percentage, as well as information about the fire class, such as "Black Smoke", "White Smoke", "Fire";
- For weapon, fight, balaclava/niqab events, user sees the probability of weapon, fight, balaclava/niqab in the frame in percentage;
- For abandoned object events, the recognized object is displayed on a frame from the video stream.
* The color coding of similarity thresholds is configured in the config.json configuration file (see LUNA POINT. Administration Manual).:
- similarity values below “low” will be marked in red;
- similarity values between “low” and “medium” will be marked in yellow;
- similarity values above “medium” will be marked in green.
Click on a block with an event to open the event details.
Showing alarm events#
Configure the display of notifications about alarm events in the "Operator panel" and in other sections via the handling policy settings, "Tagging parameters" (Figure 9). Disable notifications for a while via the setting in the window (Figure 10).
